Newly inaugurated governor of Rivers state, Sim Fubara has brought about a stir on social media after declaring that Rivers state is a Christian state.

In accordance with him, the state will keep sturdy to its Christian values. Posting his official photograph portrait on his Twitter deal with, Governor Fubara wrote;

‘’Rivers State is a Christian State, and God is our basis. We will govern with the worry of God and keep sturdy to our Christian values of belief, religion, love, care and sacrifice.”

Reacting, some Nigerians felt his Tweet not crucial. They argue that he ought to deal with good governance and serve residents of the state properly as a substitute of talks about faith.
