NYSC Set To Resume Orientation In Borno 13 Years After Over Boko Haram Insurgency » Naijaloaded

The Nationwide Youth Service Corps (NYSC) says it plans to renew the orientation programme for brand new corps members in Borno, 13 years after it was suspended because of the Boko Haram insurgency.

The Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) stories that corps members deployed to the state have been made to look at their orientation in Katsina State for a number of years because of the insurgency.

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Lawal Yusufu instructed newsmen on the advert hoc orientation camp positioned within the Arabic Academics School, Maiduguri on Monday that the subsequent orientation would maintain within the state.

Yusufu, who spoke after assessing the amenities on the camp stated that safety companies would work in live performance to offer safety for the incoming NYSC members at entry, exit and different strategic locations within the camp.
